Company History

USP is a recognized standard that sets out standards for drugs issued at US Pharmacopoeia Meeting and is regularly revised and provides standards for various drugs and testing methods to determine the amount of strength, qualities and impurities.

USP has grown exponentially since it was founded in 1820 and has been working with more than 850 volunteers and more than 800 employees in five international locations under eleven volunteers in the United States.
About USP

In addition, USP is a unique organization run by three governing bodies of more than 900 volunteers and a management team and over 800 employees, not a government agency, but USP works with government agency, department and regulatory body. We work closely together to provide global standards for pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements and food ingredients.

As a result, USP standards in the United States and many other countries are accepted as legal or as a means of meeting certain regulatory standards.

USP standards and pharmaceuticals standards are regulated by the Federal Food and Drug and Cosmetic Act, and more than 200 FDA regulations incorporate USP food ingredient standards.

Today, USP standards are used in more than 140 countries around the world, and some international regulators and governments are integrating USP standards into their own legal and regulatory provisions to protect the quality of products and ingredients produced or exported in their own countries.
